FAQ: Do I need a big kitchen/special equipment to host a Socius event?
A: No not at all! We are used to working in kitchens of all shapes and sizes and we are yet to find one that we can't work in! Our chefs will bring all small cooking equipment with them so there's no need for you to provide anything but an oven!
FAQ:How many people can you cater for?
A: We can cater our drinking snacks and Socius plates for up to 200 people and Dinner by Socius for up to 50 guests. If your guest numbers are higher, please do contact us as we can find a way to work around this!
FAQ: I don't have enough cutlery/crockery/glassware for my party size?
A: No problem whatsoever! We have a great relationship with hire companies meaning we can hire in different styles of cutlery/crockery/glassware to suit your event perfectly. We can also source flowers or table decorations should you wish for assistance with this.
FAQ: Can you supply the drinks for my party?
A: Of course! With the help from our friends at Clover Club, we can be as little or as much help as you need - from providing a full cocktail bar service with barmen to sourcing matched wines to compliment your meal.
FAQ: Who will serve the food?
A: Food will be served by our impeccably trained and knowledgeable waiting staff.
FAQ: Will the chef need to spend the whole day in my kitchen preparing food?
A: No not at all! We will arrive around two hours before the event starts to set up and finish preparation of the food.
FAQ: I don't want my kitchen to be left in a mess!
A: We promise that we will leave your kitchen sparkling clean - a lot of our clients say the kitchen is left cleaner than when we started! We bring all of our own cleaning equipment to ensure that you are left with nothing to worry about once we've left!
FAQ: I have guests who have allergies/dietary requirements - can you cater for them?
A: Of course! Our chefs will be more than happy to cater for any dietary requirement - no matter how weird or wonderful!
FAQ: What are your payment terms?
A: We ask for 50% deposit upon confirmation and the remaining 50% following the event. This can be paid in cash or via BACS.
