Socius. The idea was always tucked away at the very back of our heads and that's where we thought it would stay. Owning a restaurant has always been a dream of ours and we still have to pinch ourselves every day to believe that we're here.
Believe it or not, Dan has never had any high class, formal training. He is a self taught chef who has worked his way through various restaurants, pubs and catering businesses in the Midlands but is absolutely obsessed with food - trust us, he never stops thinking about it!
Natalie started her hospitality career at the age of 15 as a waitress and has never looked back. After completing an events degree she finally convinced Dan to quit his job and risk everything to open a restaurant.
And here we are, opened in early 2018 - lots of tears, happiness and stress later, we're living our dream and we really hope you love it. We created the space completely from scratch with love - we wanted to create a space where there are no rules, everyone is welcome and the atmosphere is relaxed and everyone feels at ease.
